The DVX incorporates the proven benefits of the DV+, including improved boost retention and faster throttle response. It uses the pilot actuation method, which allows the valve to open and close more efficiently, especially under high pressure.
Adjustable Sound Control: With the patented vent bias adjustment system, you can adjust the proportion of air recirculated to the intake or vented to the atmosphere. This allows for fine control of the discharge sound: you can customize it to your preferences, ranging from quiet (100% recirculation) to a powerful, deep blast (atmospheric ventilation). This system outperforms simple BOV spacers, which limit flow capacity and do not correct the performance flaws of factory systems.
Improved Responsiveness: DVX retains the fast and precise control of the ECU (Engine Control Unit), allowing immediate detection and response to changes in throttle pressure. Unlike systems using only pneumatic control (by manifold vacuum), the ECU control is faster and able to handle fine and rapid throttle transitions.
Robust and durable design: As with the DV+, the DVX design uses durable metal materials (anodized aluminum and brass piston) to replace the plastic or rubber components of factory systems. This ensures longer life, especially on vehicles where boost pressure has been increased or modified.
