Downpipe & Decatalyst

The installation of a decatalyst in its place will thus allow better circulation of exhaust gases and therefore an increase in engine performance and in particular torque at low revs.

The downpipe , or turbo descent, is placed after the turbo and can sometimes replace a precatalyst or a catalyst. The overpipe, reserved for the Flat-4 of the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ, is the part between the collector and the catalyst which passes above the anti-roll bar and the cradle.

You will also be able to find intermediates, elements housed between the catalyst and the final silencer , as well as Y-pipes for V6 engines, notably composed of two tubes at the outlet of the collectors opening onto the exhaust line.
