The EGR Valve Removal Kit for 2.0 TDI engines (engine codes BVA, BVF, BVG, BLB, BRE ) is a kit designed to safely remove the EGR valve, which is often the source of clogging problems and loss of performance.

- Reduced soot buildup: The EGR valve is known to cause soot deposits in the intake, leading to blockages and malfunctions. Removing this valve reduces this risk
Kit Contents and Specifications:
- 1 x EGR replacement pipe (outer diameter 54 mm, length 74 mm) made of stainless steel
- 1 stainless steel blanking plate
- 1 blanking plate hinge
- 1 flange gasket
- 1 O-ring
Important to note:
- For models before 2002-2004, it is unlikely that an ECU warning light will be displayed
- For newer models with pneumatic and electronic EGR valves, installation may cause an ECU warning light to appear. In this case, an ECU reprogramming is recommended to completely disable the EGR function.
This modification is often carried out for racing cars or vehicles not used on public roads, as it can result in increased pollutant emissions, making the vehicle non-compliant with local regulations.
