Improved Performance on Original Dump Valve with GFB's DV+
GFB's DV+ offers a simple and elegant solution to factory valve problems. By retaining the original solenoid, you benefit from all the advantages of the original system, while replacing the valve components with robust metal parts ensures strength and reliability, regardless of the power level used.
But that's not all. Instead of directly actuating the valve via the solenoid, we've introduced a unique pilot actuation system. This means the solenoid controls the air pressure used to open and close the piston. So, regardless of the power transmitted, the DV+ will operate reliably without ever exceeding the solenoid's capacity.
This feature also improves on the factory system by gradually opening the valve in response to boost pressure. This ensures the valve only opens enough to do the necessary work, resulting in better throttle response. However, the factory valve may only open partially if boost pressure is low.
